*Grammy winner and new daddy John Legend will pry himself away from newborn daughter Luna to perform the national anthem at tonight’s Game 1 of the NBA Finals on ABC.

The seven game series pitting league MVP Steph Curry and his Golden State Warriors against former league MVP LeBron James’ Cleveland Cavaliers begins at Oracle Arena in Oakland, California at 9 p.m. EST.

Legend, 37, is also an accomplished film and TV producer, philanthropist and activist. He recently won an Oscar and a Golden Globe for his song “Glory,” that he wrote and performed with Common for the film “Selma.”

His wife Chrissy Teigen has been posting photos of their daughter Luna nonstop since her birth on April 14. The latest Instagram pic has the baby wearing a white sundress with feathered angel wings.
