*TV One reality series “Hollywood Divas” returns this summer with a new cast member who is no stranger to reality television.
It was announced in March that Malika Haqq, a recurring presence on E!’s “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” and its numerous spinoffs, will join Countess Vaughn, Lisa Wu, Golden Brooks and Paula Jai Parker for Season 3
Haqq replaces Elise Neal in the series, which is set to premiere on July 6.
“One of my most challenging moves to date has been stepping out of my comfort zone,” Malika stated in March. “At the same time, I know I need to grow and surround myself around other actors, so joining the cast of Divas seemed like a leap of faith in the right direction.”
“Divas” executive producer Carlos King said of Malika’s addition, “This season, I wanted to explore a different side of Hollywood and that’s Young, Black Hollywood. Malika Haqq not only represents that world; she thrives in it. She is truly a Hollywood Diva.”
