*An official trailer has been released for Kanye West’s new video game “Only One,” an effort dedicated to his late mother Donda.
According to Engadget, the game follows an imagined conversation between West and his mom. Teasing the game during his Yeezy Season 3 fashion show earlier this year, he said, “The idea of the game is my mom traveling through the gates of heaven. I just wanna bring as much beauty to the world as possible.”
In the game’s animated trailer, which premiered at the annual Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), an angel dressed in white flies toward the heavens in rays of sunlight, joining others headed in the same direction. She is next seen riding a Pegasus and, later, developing her own set of wings that she uses to rocket towards the sun.
“Only One” shares its title with his 2014 single featuring Paul McCartney, which he described as being written from his mom’s perspective, through him, and to his daughter North.
A release date or platform for Only One has yet to be announced.
