Toast to Urban Music Executives
The 9th Annual Toast is a Pre-BET Awards and Black Music Month celebration that will be hosted by Jeannie Jones (Radio/TV Personality).
The Toast will take place from 7p.m. to 11p.m. at Tinhorn Flats located at 1724 N. Highand Ave, Hollywood, CA., 90028 with live performances by Joshua Ledet (American Idol/Soul Singer), Vincent Berry II (Co-Producer & Co-writer for Beyoncé’s “Sandcastles” on album “Lemonade;” three-time Grammy-nominated), Mindless Behavior (R&B, Epic Records Artist), Vonzell Solomon (R&B Artist), and more.
The presenters will be Mir Harris (Entertainment Executive, A&R); Pat Shields (Partner, Black Dot LCC.); and David Mitchell (Publisher, MIQ); and others.
This years honorees are Phylicia Fant- VP of Publicity and Lifestyle, Warner Bros Records; Brad Davidson- VP of Urban Promotions, RCA Records; Brian Samson- Blueprint Promotions/Management; Jerome Spence- Sr. Creative
Director of Film & TV, Peermusic; and Moya Nkruma- ASCAP Associate Director, Rhythm & Soul. The event is produced by Lynn Allen Jerter & Associates.
Invited celebrities and VIPs include Mona Scott-Young (LHH Producer), Goapele (Artist), Max Gousse (Record Entertainment Executive) James Leach (VP of Writer/Publisher Relations at SESAC), Jeanine McClean (MBK Entertainment), Herb Trawick (Executive Producer/Co- Host of Pensado’s Place), Eric Bellinger (Grammy Award winninger singer-songwriter); Tank (Grammy-winning singer-songwriter), and Howard Henley (TV Host, CW’s ‘Truth or Dare’).

The mission of the Toast to Urban Music Executives Awards event is to honor influential Urban Music and Entertainment Executives from the worlds of music, music and entertainment landscape multi-media, film and television for their outstanding commitment, contributions, and sacrifices made to preserve the heritage and value of the urban entertainment landscape, and to showcase new talent.
Along with honoring Urban Music Executives, the Toast provides a networking platform in the spirit of recognition, support, mentorship, and relationship building.
