Ann Coulter’s Tweet Mocking Hero Soldier’s Dad Even Too Much for Fellow Conservatives

*It appears as if Ann Coulter has finally crossed the line with her own conservative flock.

The writer actually mocked the Muslim father who spoke passionately at Thursday’s Democratic National Convention about his son, U.S. Army captain Humayun S.M. Khan, who died while saving ten of his fellow soldiers in Iraq in 2004.

Accompanied by his wife, Khizr Khan first told the audience in Philadelphia how his son sacrificed his life by stopping a suicide bomber. He then went after GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump, who has said he wants to temporarily ban all Muslims from the country “until we can figure out what’s going on.”

Hillary Clinton was right when she called my son the best of America. If it was up to Donald Trump, he never would have been in America,” said Khan. “Donald Trump consistently smears the character of Muslims. He disrespects other minorities, women, judges, and even his own party leadership. Donald Trump loves to build walls and ban us from this country.”

Addressing Trump directly he said, “Let me ask you, have you even read the U.S. Constitution? I will gladly lend you my copy,” before adding, “You have sacrificed nothing! And no one!”

Watch below:

The speech had both Democrats and Republicans tweeting emotional responses in solidarity with Khan. Coulter, a proud Trump supporter, was not one of them.

She tweeted: “You know what this convention really needed? An angry Muslim with a thick accent like Fareed Zacaria,” apparently misspelling the name of CNN host Fareed Zakaria.

Conservatives came for Coulter hard.
