Charles Barkley Appearing on TV One’s ‘NewsOne Now’ Friday Morning at 7am

*Roland S. Martin, host and managing editor of TV One’s News One Now, the only daily news show program targeting Black viewers, will be speaking with NBA star and analyst Charles Barkley tomorrow, Friday, July 15 at 7am ET.

During the show’s live broadcast , Barkley will join News One Now as a guest to discuss the Black Lives Matter movement and the recent police shootings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile.

Barkley will be joining CNN political commentator Angela Rye, columnist and contributing editor of The Root David Swerdlick, former U.S. Associate Deputy Secretary of Energy Randa Fahmy and White House correspondent and political analyst Jon-Christopher Bua in the panel discussion.

Named one of 50 greatest players in NBA History, Charles Barkley ended his Hall of Fame basketball career in 2000 and became a pop culture icon. Barkley is an Emmy Award-winning television personality and is currently an analyst on Inside the NBA. He is also known for being an activist, speaking out against the racism and classism that affect communities in America every day.

News One Now is hosted by Roland S. Martin and is the only daily news show program targeting Black viewers airing daily Monday-Friday, 7-8am ET on TV One.
