Dwyane Wade’s Ex, Siohvaughn L. Funches-Wade Comes for Him in New Tell-All

The True Story For God’s Glory The Life of Siohvaughn L Funches Wade

*Is Dwyane Wade about to in for some rough sailing? Could be ’cause his ex, Siohvaughn Funches-Wade, is coming for him in a new autobiography called “The True Story For God’s Glory: The Life of Siohvaughn L. Funches-Wade.”

The title sounds kind of harmless and the cover looks that way, too. However, like they say, you can’t judge a book by it’s cover.

DWade’s former high school sweetheart says she became “an arrogant diva” to try to fit in with other NBA wives. She also shares allegations that Wade beat her, and even recalls being contacted by one of Wade’s mistresses.

Funches-Wade goes on to say that living with Wade in Miami was like living in a “$4 million … prison” and alleges that an unnamed former teammate of Wade’s with the Miami Heat “suggested that I have an affair right after a game while still inside the Miami Heat Arena,” and writes about regretting an abortion that she had.

Siohvaughn Funches-Wade goes into detail regarding her Christian faith. She says it ultimately helped her to rebound from their difficult divorce and go to law school.

Discussing how her marriage to Wade ended, she says in the book that he’d tell her “I want to sow my wild oats” and “This isn’t your money and if you leave, nobody is going to want you and you aren’t going to have anything without me. You will end up having to go back and live at your mama’s house!”

In her tell-all, Funches-Wade paints a picture of a husband who was straight up unfaithful. She found photos and instant messages from other women on his phone. The breaking point was when a woman called her in the middle of the night and told her she had just slept with Wade. The woman gave “a description of the underwear he was wearing,” she wrote.

Damn!

But those trials and tribulations were nothing compared to the pain she felt because of her love of money. She explains:

“I got divorced and had both my children wrongfully taken from me, I lost my home and my health, my reputation was destroyed. But it was all nothing compared to the pain I felt from the love of money. From that pain I am still healing to this day. I had never felt in my life true emptiness until my bank account was full.”

Again, all we can say is “damn.” It’s obvious Siohvaughn and Dwyane Wade don’t need to be anywhere near each other. In any event, the book, “The True Story For God’s Glory: The Life of Siohvaughn L. Funches-Wade” is available at booksellers and online via Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
