It’s just so much fun playing Granny. I get to come in with a bunch of jokes. And as a comedian I think I have the funniest lines in the film. I’m loving it.

The way the directors set things up is so detailed it makes my job that much easier.

There’ so much. Its hitting all the right notes: There’s romance, action, drama comedy suspense ~ its all across the board. It’s a great ride.

A few Queen Latifah thoughts about Ice Age

“Each Ice age film has been special. It’s all ways been done on such a high quality level.”

There is no doubt to Queen Latifah that Ice Age: Collision Course is something that will live on and on and on. She expects to share it with her children and grand children.

According to Latifah who plays Ellie, in each movie they manage to come up with someway to destroy the world in a new and creative way and they make it look amazing. Plus, they give the viewer a great journey and also a great ride to take.

“Ice Age blows every body else out of the water. The detail is so amazing, Latifah said.”

The story lines are so awesome because you can feel it. The production level is amazing; its beautiful work. It’s allowed me to see another side of animation that I’ve never known. The same emotions go into it has there would television or the movies.

I absolutely love doing it. It’s so much fun to sit in that booth. They even put a rail in there so you can grab on and move around. The hardest thing to do is not the dialog. The hardest thing to do is all the grunting noises. I have such a new appreciation for what goes into making animation.

Geotopia is the perfect place. No body ages, every body is nice and young. You don’t have some grays creeping in like I have right now on planet earth. That is geotopia the perfect place for everybody where you stay young, you stay free, you stay a child and you have fun.

…To sit in the booth and become a kid and to make up these voices adjusting to animations and you find yourself moving your body to get that voice out of you ~ because you get a feel for what the character is gonna be ~ It’s the most fun thing I’ve ever done.

Synopsis

Scrat’s epic pursuit of the elusive acorn catapults him into the universe where he accidentally sets off a series of cosmic events that transform and threaten the Ice Age World.
