*Tonight at 10 p.m., MTV and BET present “What Now?: An MTV News and BET News Town Hall” special to hear from viewers and discuss action following this week’s police killings of two black men and the killings of five police officers in Dallas.
Broadcast live from MTV’s Times Square studio with an open forum of artists, activists and audience members, the town hall will focus on the issues underlying this latest round of police brutality and tragedy in America.
Participants will include Charlamagne Tha God from MTV2’s “Uncommon Sense With Charlamagne”; Jamil Smith of MTV News; Marc Lamont Hill of BET News; and Franchesca Ramsey of MTV’s “Decoded” and Comedy Central’s “The Nightly Show With Larry Wilmore.”
The program will be simulcast across MTV, BET, VH1, MTV2, mtvU, MTV Live, VH1 Classic, MTV Hits, Centric and Logo over the air; on Facebook Live via MTV, MTV News, BET, VH1 and Logo; and on YouTube via MTV and MTV News.
Viewers at home will be invited to use their voices by calling in or via social media using the hashtag #WhatNow.
