*Here’s a couple of very interesting developments that TBS is working on. Would you believe one of them is a scripted comedy series with plotlines loosely based the lyrics of songs from the late, legendary rapper, Notorious B.I.G.

The proposed show, whose title is “Think B.I.G.” follows the misadventures of an inner-city teen desperately trying to create a better future for his daughter and infant son.

On top of “Think B.I.G” TBS also announced production of “Storyville,” a 10-episode digital series will feature funny, absurd, weird and sometimes sheer joyful stories straight from the mouths of top celebrities. Deadline says the true-life stories of musicians, actors, comedians, writers and artists will be animated in detail, exposing the absurdity of celebrity life in all of its glory. Storyville will premiere this fall across TBS digital and social platforms. Get a taste below.

Mass Appeal is producing both shows. “Think B.I.G.” in partnership with Wayne Barrow of Bystorm Films and Voletta Wallace for Notorious B.I.G. Inc. and “Storyville” is hooked up with OkayPlayer.

“Storyville and Think B.I.G. speak to the types of projects we will cultivate with Mass Appeal moving forward,” said Brett Weitz, EVP Original Programming at TBS. “Mass Appeal is a leader in developing unique stories with diverse voices. There’s no better partner for us to connect with this vibrant, impassioned audience.”
