*“Saturday Night Live’s” Michael Che introduced new mobile app sensation “Trumpemon Go” Wednesday night at the Republican National Convention, where the object is to catch the most elusive of beings at the event – a person of color.
Playing off of Pokemon Go, Che scoured the convention floor — not for Pikachu, but for black people.
It was all part of MSNBC’s “Weekend Update” segment hosted by Che and Colin Jost. The video included a cartoon version of Donald Trump with the game’s “slogan”: “Catch ’em all. Get ’em outta here.”
How did Che do?
Not very well.
