Meanwhile, Elba — who has long been rumored to be in the running to play the next James Bond — recently called the rumblings the “wildest rumor in the world.”

“I keep saying if it were to happen it would be the will of a nation because there hasn’t been any talks between me and the studio about any of that,” Elba said in an interview that aired today on “Good Morning America.” “But everywhere I go people want that to happen, so.”

Idris added with a laugh, “But if I’m really honest man, I think I’m too old for that man, running around in cars and ladies and martinis, who wants to do that? Sounds terrible.”

lupitaIn related celebrity entertainment, Tiffany & Co. rarely creates advertising campaigns around celebrities, but the high-end luxury brand is hoping to save its business by tapping black beauty Lupita Nyong’o to star in a new print and digital advertising campaign.

It’s the first time that Tiffany’s, best known for the movie and song “Breakfast at Tiffany’s.” has ever used celebrities in a marketing campaign.

The print ads shows Nyong’o posing in front of Tiffany traditional blue backdrop, along with the slogan, “Some style is legendary.”

Fashionista.com explains that “Tiffany & Co. is facing financial hardship and falling stock prices,” most likely due to the high costs of the company’s signature jewelry. The company is hoping celebs like Lupita and actress Elle Fanning will make its jewels the most sought after in the world.
