*Remember Star Swain, the woman who last month stopped tourists cold with her impromptu National Anthem at the Lincoln Memorial?

This morning, she made her singing debut on national television, performing the same song for ABC’s “Good Morning America.”

The Georgia-born Floridian sang before a crowd in New York City’s Central Park during Friday’s broadcast, continuing an incredible ride that began on June 16, when she casually commented on the acoustics of the Lincoln Memorial while visiting with her family and church group. She joked that it made her want to sing the Star Spangled Banner — and was cajoled into actually doing it.

The rest is history. In video of the performance, which has amassed over 15 million views on Facebook and another half million on YouTube, tourists who were milling about the monument stopped and crowded around to listen.

It was only a matter of time before TV producers started calling.

Swain could be back in DC pretty soon. She told CBS News that her “wildest dream” is to sing at the White House – a spot that may have even better acoustics.

Until then, watch her Friday “GMA” performance and Thursday interview on “CBS Evening News” below:
