Al Roker Exposes Billy Bush’s White Privilege Defense of Ryan Lochte: ‘He Lied!’ (WATCH)

*Sorry Billy Bush, but Al Roker ain’t havin’ it. We’re referring to the clip above where the NBC weatherman/commentator got into a heated argument with his associate, who hosts “Access Hollywood,” over Ryan Lochte, the Olympic swimmer who just straight up fabricated a story of being robbed at gunpoint in Brazil.

The clip starts with Roker saying, “He lied.” Several times. “He lied to you, he lied to Matt Lauer, he lied his mom, he left his teammates hanging,” Roker begins.

Bush’s comeback was “he embellished it.”

And then Roker really lit into George W. Bush’s nephew when he tried to defend Lochte by saying, “OK, he lied about some details.”

To which, Roker said, “No, no, no. Not about some details … There was no gun, there was no pullover, no one cocked a gun to his head … He lied.”

In a clear case of white privilege, Bush again tried to defend the more than obvious lie, saying, “Well if a security guard was standing in front of you speaking Portuguese—”

Roker’s comeback: “He had a translator.”

Oops.

If you missed it, Lochte told the fake story of being pulled over and robbed at gunpoint in an interview with Bush on Sunday. Lochte has since apologized for lying and will now appear in a sit-down interview with Matt Lauer that will first air on NBC Saturday night.

Lochte’s original account to Bush:

“We got pulled over, in the taxi, and these guys came out with a badge — a police badge — no lights, no nothing,” Lochte recalled. “Just a police badge and they pulled us over. They pulled out their guns, they told the other swimmers to get down on the ground — they got down on the ground. I refused, I was like, ‘We didn’t do anything wrong, so — I’m not getting down on the ground.’ And then the guy pulled out his gun, he cocked it, put it to my forehead and he said, ‘get down’ and I put my hands up. I was like ‘whatever.’ He took our money, he took my wallet — he left my cell phone, he left my credentials.”
