‘Goodie Bags’ Given Out During Latest Prince Memorial at Paisley Park (Pics)

*Prince’s friends and family hosted a private memorial for the late musician Saturday (Aug. 13) at Paisley Park, and guests reportedly left with souvenirs.

Anthony Anderson, Anthony Hamilton, Rosario Dawson and Maya Rudolph, as well as Prince’ sister, Tyka Nelson were among the 100 – 150 mourners attending the service, with most guests wearing some form of purple, according to Access Hollywood. The event was described as more of an informal gathering of friends — “a mixer,” where Prince’s hits were played, and soul food was served afterward.

Prince’s protégé Judith Hill performed, as did Prince’s childhood best friend and bandmate André Cymone. Prince’s former tour manager Alan Leeds also spoke to attendees, according to a source.

Although Prince was a Jehovah’s Witness, Pastor Billy G. Russell, a Senior Pastor at the Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Minneapolis, delivered a “comfort eulogy.”

No photos were allowed inside the private memorial, but Rudolph (who formed the Prince tribute band “Princess”) shared photos from outside the services on her band’s Facebook page.

The guests also got to take home momentos.

According to TMZ, members of Prince’s family handed out gift bags to the attendees:

A witness tells us mourners got everything from pens to tote bags and more — all specially marked “The Eternity of Prince.” There was even a chain with Prince’s famous symbol.
