Lauryn Hill Announces 2016 Tour Dates – Miguel’s New ‘Noteworthy’ Doc

Ms. Lauryn Hill*Ms. Lauryn Hill will kick off a nationwide tour later this month, which launches on August 27 at The Mann in Philadelphia and carries on through November. There’s no word on whether a new album with coincide will the tour, but one thing is for certain: fans interested in attending the show should prepare for Hill to take the stage hours later than the scheduled start time. Y’all know her live shows generally start at CP Time.

In related news, NPR Music has launched a new short-form documentary series in Noteworthy, and first up is Miguel. The native LA crooner joins acclaimed journalist Jason King in a chat to discuss his artistic influences, creative process, and how both have changed over the years.

He also notes how to be a more politically and socially conscious artist in an age when most of his peers would rather #turnup than speak out against the issues that are plaguing black folks and our communities.
