*Finally, Olympic swimming lord Michael Phelps revealed what song he was listening to in his headphones while famously staring down rival Chad le Clos of South Africa in a moment that launched the definitive meme of the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Turns out Phelps was chosen to introduce Future at Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards for a reason.
“Remember in Rio when I made that face that ended up all over the Internet?” asked Phelps. “I was in the zone with Future’s track, “Stick Talk”, blaring in my headphones.”
“I might have a lot of gold but this guy’s got all the platinum,” he continued.
