*Mike Epps and Tip “T.I.” Harris will star as brothers and produce the upcoming restaurant-themed comedy “The Trap,” reports Variety.

Based on a story by Epps and Nile Evans, the film follows T.I.’s character as he returns home to Atlanta and helps to save the dilapidated restaurant run by his brother (Epps) and mother. A change in the chicken recipe revives the location.

Queen Latifah is producing through her Flavor Unit Entertainment shingle with partner Shakim Compere. Epps is producing via his Naptown Productions with partner Niles Kirchner and T.I. will produce under his Grand Hustle Films company with partner Brian Sher.

Chris Robinson, who directed T.I. in 2006’s “ATL,” returns to the chair and will also produce.

Production is set to begin this fall.
