Tayo’s ‘GOSPEL HUMOR’ Cartoons – Not Just a Book

*The GOSPEL HUMOR book of Christian cartoons was officially launched recently at the Hilton JFK Airport Hotel in New York, by Dr. Festus Adeyeye, Senior Pastor of ALCC Winners’ House Church, Brooklyn, New York. The book launch had friends, well-wishers, Pastors and Church Ministers in attendance.

Published by Light of The World Media/News/Publishing, GOSPEL HUMOR gives insight into the Christian life with 112 pages of hilarious, rib-cracking cartoons.

The pocket cartoons were drawn by TAYO Fatunla, an Electronic Urban Report (EURweb) contributor, who said that he “aims to propagate the Gospel through his cartoons.”

In 2007, GOSPEL HUMOR began as a pocket cartoon on the front pages of Light of The World Newspaper, a widely distributed Christian publication, based in Jamaica, New York and the UK-based KEEP THE FAITH magazine.

The GOSPEL HUMOR book is a compilation of TAYO’s published cartoons and some new ones. Publisher, Pastor Julius Ogunnaya in his foreword writes, “Our world is filled with so many different, challenging situations and circumstances that the word of God, filled with humor and laughter, is a required remedy.”

Christian stand-up comedian, J. Femi Korede (aka JFK), also thrilled invited guests with his compendium of jokes. There was music and speeches by TAYO’s publisher and TAYO himself who said he was encouraged by his Publisher to compile the cartoons.

Both author TAYO and Publisher, Pastor Ogunnaya were ably supported by their wives, families and friends, who were also in attendance.
