*While many veterans have called San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s refusal to stand for the national anthem before games unpatriotic and anti-military, a large contingent of vets are supporting his right to protest.
On Tuesday, the Twitter hashtag #VeteransForKaepernick became a world wide trending topic, with vets defending his decision to bring awareness to America’s issues with race.
