The North Carolina native just turned 44 on August 7, according to Famelous. His cause of death is unknown, however, SandraRose.com reports that he suffered from the auto-immune disease Lupus. The website also noted:

Jackson was known affectionately as “wig”. Fans of the Wendy Williams Show remember him as a permanent fixture on her popular “After Show” web series on YouTube.com.

Jackson was Williams’ stylist during every season of her #1 rated TV show, which is currently on hiatus. He won an Emmy in 2011 for his work on the show.

Jackson has also worked with Iman, Star Jones, and Christina Millian, Sherri Shepherd, and on TV shows such as “Braxton Family Values.”

Sandra Rose also reports that Jackson was engaged to “L.A. Hair” star Dontay Savoy (real name Matthew Doby) and is survived by a 25-year-old son from a previous marriage.

Jackson’s last Instagram post a few days ago showed several looks he styled for Williams’s upcoming seventh season.
