*Don Cheadle says only “a racist, abusive coward who could permanently damage the fabric of our society” can get a bunch of stars together for a PSA in which they beg people to vote on Election Day.
The actor joins Jesse Williams, Keegan Michel Key, Yvette Nicole Brown, Leslie Odom, Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr. and a “s**t ton” of other famous people (as Julianne Moore says in the clip) for the video “Save the Day,” a play on words that urges people to mark Nov. 8 on the calendar…as well as save our country from a particular candidate that was never named.
But it’s obviously Donald Trump.
“Do we really want to give nuclear weapons to a man whose signature move is firing things?” asks Odom in the video, released today (Sept. 21) by a short-form digital production company also called Save the Day.
Martin Sheen adds: “We can not pretend that both sides are equally unfavorable.”
