*Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez filed for divorce in October 2015 citing “irreconcilable differences,” but the two remain man and wife because neither party has made an effort to get things finalized.
According to TMZ, a court clerk filed paperwork letting Berry and Martinez know that if no further action is taken, their divorce petition will be dismissed.
Sources tell the website that Berry may want to reconcile with Martinez on the condition that he seeks help for his alleged anger issues, which made headlines with two attacks on paparazzi and a brawl with Berry’s ex, Gabriel Aubry, on Thanksgiving 2012.
Berry is also reportedly reluctant to go through a third divorce after her public splits from David Justice and Eric Benét.
The two are not back together, but reportedly remain close friends and cooperative co-parents of son Maceo, 3, and Berry’s 9-year-old daughter with Aubry, Nahla.
