*”Dope” standout Kiersey Clemons has booked her next big screen role opposite Callum Turner, Jeff Bridges and Kate Beckinsale in the Amazon Studios film “The Only Living Boy in New York.”
The film is about a young man who learns that his overbearing father is having an affair. The son tries to stop it, but ends up becoming involved with the woman as well.
Details about Clemons’ role are being kept under wraps, according to Variety.
Marc Webb will direct a script from writer Allan Loeb. Production is set to start in the fall.
Amazon will finance and distribute movie. Albert Berger and Ron Yerxa are producing and John Fogel will executive produce.
Clemons currently has several projects in the works. As previously reported, she was recently offered the role of Iris West in Warner Bros. “The Flash” starring Ezra Miller. She also just wrapped production on Sony’s “Flatliners” opposite Ellen Page and Diego Luna, which is set for release in Aug. 2017.
She was also recently seen in “Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising” and the Netflix anthology series “Easy.”
