President Obama Responds to Philippine President Who Called Him ‘Son of a Whore’ (VIDEOS)

*Dang, the a-holes of the world who call themselves leaders are targeting President Obama like never before during the last several days. On Saturday, the Chinese government didn’t provide a ramp for Obama to exit Air Force One so he had to deplane from the so called “ass” of the aircraft.

Now comes word that Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has promised to curse him out if he gets a lecture on human rights when the two of them meet during an upcoming conference in Laos. At a press conference in China after the G20 meetings among world powers, President Obama responded.

“I have seen some of those colorful statements in the past. Clearly he’s a colorful guy,” Obama said. “Obviously the Filipino people are some of our closest friends and allies, the Philippines is a treaty ally of ours, but I always want to make sure if I’m having a meeting that it’s actually productive and we’re getting something done.”

Duterte is way more than colorful. He was elected in May on a major war-on-drugs platform, and he is known for having an in-your-face way of speaking and an uncompromising approach to politics. Duterte’s policies have led to the extrajudicial killings of more than 2,000 people, which has prompted criticism and concern from world leaders for months, according to Fox News and other outlets.

It is not yet certain that Obama planned to bring up the topic during an upcoming summit of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, but Duterte warned the US president in a Monday press conference that he will call him a “son of a whore” if he “just throw[s] away questions and statements.”

When asked about the possibility of Obama and other world leaders asking him about the spate of extrajudicial and vigilante killings in the Philippines, Duterte said that he will not respond to anybody but the Filipino people.

“The Philippines is not a vassal state. We have long ceased to be a colony of the United States… I do not respond to anybody but to the people of the Republic of the Philippines. Wala akong pakialam sa kanya, who is he?” Duterte said before departure at the Davao International Airport.

Meanwhile, in terms of the drug trade, Obama said today in China that America will stand for due process and international law in its approach to dealing with drug crime.
