*Los Angeles, CA — There is something so exciting about visiting the television home of veteran actor and star of FOX’s “Rosewood,” the one and only Morris Chestnut.
The Manhattan Beach set – staged in Miami, FL – has a very sexy and grown vibe about it. So when Morris calmly walks in, wearing a lavender button down shirt and jeans contrasted against the cool modern-contemporary backdrop of the set, he fits right in!
EURweb associate, Robin Ayers, took a little stroll with the star down the hallway of his TV home and opened up the conversation by addressing the “elephant in the room.”
“Do you think that Villa (Morris’ co-star Jaina Lee Ortiz) would have a problem with the fact that another woman is in your house?” Robin jokingly asked.
Morris laughs, “I think she might have a slight problem with it but I figure some type of way we’ll work it out.”
Although Rosewood and Villa worked together, they also had an on-again, off-again relationship on season 1 and will continue to explore professional and personal relationships in season 2, according to Jaina.
On the topic of growing as an actor, Morris says even though he has over twenty years of experience in acting under his belt, he is always observing and learning from everyone, including his Rosewood co-stars.
EURweb also had the chance to speak with his returning co-stars, Jaina Lee Ortiz, Domenick Lombardozzi, Anna Konkle, Gabrielle Dennis, and Lorraine Toussaint.
According to Toussaint, who plays the mother of Dr. Beaumont Rosewood, season 2 will be sexy and fun as she laughs while giving us the inside scoop on her character dealing with a man in prison, which her children Rosewood and Pippy (Gabrielle Dennis) are not at all pleased about.
New comers this season include fan favorite, Eddie Cibrian and former Destiny’s Child member, LeToya Luckett. Luckett says that she’s fulfilled a childhood dream of being the love interest of Morris Chestnut. She says the cast took her in immediately and made her feel like family.
“Rosewood” airs on FOX, Thursdays at 8pm E/P.
