Trump’s Black Preacher Surrogate – Mark Burns – Exposed for Lies, Lies, Lies … on Camera (WATCH)

*Would you be surprised to learn that one of  Donald Trump‘s black preacher surrogates has been caught living/telling a bunch of lies? You wouldn’t? We didn’t think you would, either. We’re talking about Pastor Mark Burns. Yes, the one who came to prominence at the Republican National Convention back in July.

Burns was caught in a bunch of lies this week, and he was caught on camera. Needless to say it was not a good look. It happened during an interview with CNN’s Victor Blackwell.

Lie #1: Burns was asked about being a member of the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity which he claimed on his church Website (the bio has since been taken down.) When the national fraternity was contacted, there was no record of him ever being a member.

Lie #2: Burns said he spent six years in the army reserve. However, when the Army was asked to verify, they didn’t because Burns never served in the US Army.

Lie #3: Blackwell asked Burns about his claim of receiving a degree from North Greenville university. Yes, you already know the answer to that one, too. But for the record, the school said Burns did attend for one semester.

At that point Burns knew he caught dead to right and tried claim he told the interviewer, Blackwell, that everything was “off the record,” which to Blackwell responded saying he never agreed to that. Oops.

Burns then claimed that the line of questioning was “an attempt to destroy my character” and tried to blame the media for trying to silence him.

“What I’m saying is this – in reference to the Website, if there is inaccurate information on there that can easily be manipulated by other people, by hackers, people can create whatever they want to create,” a guilty looking Burns said.

CNN contacted the web hosting company which noted that there was “no evidence of a hack.”

As Burns got up to leave the interview mid-way, saying he didn’t feel comfortable, the reporter came at him with yet another dubious claim about Burns studying at the Anderson Theological Seminary. He said that was an old biography to which the reporter responded – “Is it old or was it hacked?”

Burns then walked out and got into a van, leaving the reporter and camera crew at his church.

Burns later released this statement in response on Twitter:

“As a young man starting my church in Greenville, South Carolina, I overstated several details of my biography because I was worried I wouldn’t be taken seriously as a new pastor. This was wrong, I wasn’t truthful then and I have to take responsibility for my actions. Since that time I should have taken steps to correct any misrepresentations of my background. We all make mistakes and I hope that the measure of my character and the quality of my works speak for what kind of person I am.”

And course, he blames the liberal media for the “attacks.”

“I also want to set the record straight about why these attacks are happening—because I am a black man supporting Donald Trump for president.”

He added:

“It’s a shame the political insiders and the media choose to attack me because I’m not going to stay silent about Hillary Clinton’s pandering to our community.”

OK, so what does Hillary Clinton have to with you telling lies, Mr. Burns?
