*Fifty-seven of the nation’s top media brands for women have come together in partnership with Rock the Vote on a voter registration campaign—#OurVoteCounts—to ensure that women participate in this historic election. This unprecedented non-partisan effort will reach an audience of over 67 million women of varied interests, ages, races, political beliefs, geography and faiths, because votes from women in America mean more than ever in 2016.

The participating brands will amplify the #OurVoteCounts initiative through their social platforms, sites and pages.  Many brand leaders will hit the road to register voters across America.

Women will play a crucial role in the 2016 presidential election.  According to the Center for American Women and Politics, 64 percent of eligible women voted in the 2012 election, while only 45 percent of women 18-24 marked their ballots, showing that millennial women are turning out at even lower rates than their older peers.

These troubling statistics have led 57 brands to work together and collectively push for change. We believe young women are the driving force behind an inclusive vision for our future.

The group pledges, together, to register a minimum of 100,000 women to vote ‪before November 8.

As of today #OurVoteCounts participating brands are: Allure, Babble, Brides, Brit + Co, Bustle, Byrdie, CafeMom, Clover, Elite Daily, Essence, Fashion Bomb Daily, Glamour, Glossier, Goop, HBFit, Health, Hello Beautiful, HerCampus, Hola!, HuffPost Women, InStyle, Jezebel, Latina, Lenny, Makers, MamásLatinas, Muslim Girl, MyDomaine, Nylon, Obsessee, Parents, POPSUGAR, Prevention, PureWow, Racked, Real Simple, Refinery29, Revelist, Romper, ScaryMommy, SELF, SheKnows, Siempre Mujer, StyleCaster, StyleWatch, Teen Vogue, The Cut, The Frisky, theSkimm, Vivala, Vogue, W, Well and Good, Who What Wear, Women’s Health, xoJane, and The YBF with more expected to join.
