*As you know, for several months now singer Alicia Keys has making a big deal about – and has been lauded for – going make up free. Here’s what she said in a Lenny Letter back in May: “I don’t want to cover up anymore.”
But check this out. Keys’ makeup artist, Dotti, who also works with Emma Watson and Maggie Gyllenhaal, recently told W Magazine that the singer wears some makeup while “performing or ‘Voice’ judging.” This can include filling in the Keys’ brows, enhancing her freckles or giving her cheeks a warm glow with a self-tanner.
So wouldn’t that be cheating? Well yes, to some, but Dotti had this to say about that notion:
“Compared to the world of makeup, there is minimal. She’s already powerful to look at.”

In other news, If you think you can get Miguel to sing for free, you got another thing coming … maybe a knuckle drill! That’s what a San Diego nightclub owner found out earlier this week … the hard way.
According to TMZ, the singer made a deal with the owner of a joint called Side Bar in San Diego to appear and just basically hang out. Even the owner admits the contract says nothing about Miguel singing. However, the owner said they had a verbal agreement in which Miguel agreed to sing 1 song.

Miguel stood by the contract … saying he never agreed to sing, but the owner kept pushing a mic in his face, and that’s when things almost came to blows as you can see in the video below.
