*BET’s app is now available on three connected-TV devices – Apple TV, Google’s Chromecast and Roku, the network announced Monday.

Before today, the BET Now authenticated video service had only been available for Apple iOS and Android mobile devices.

Now, authenticated subscribers of participating pay-TV providers will have unlimited on-demand access to the network’s original series, specials, and hundreds of hours of bonus and digital-exclusive content, as well as the live broadcast of the BET channel through the new streaming devices.

“We are proud to add Apple TV, Chromecast and Roku to our ever-growing portfolio of BET Digital offerings and in turn expand our TV Everywhere footprint,” said Kay Madati, BET’s executive VP and chief digital officer.

The launch on Apple TV, Chromecast and Roku coincides with the Oct. 11 premieres of new seasons of “Real Husbands of Hollywood” and reality series “The Gary Owen Show” and “Ink, Paper, Scissors” about Salon Ramsey, Atlanta’s biggest one-stop beauty shop.

Other shows and specials available on the service include the BET Hip Hop Awards, the BET Awards, “American Gangster,” “BLX,” “College Hill,” “Music Moguls” and “Nellyville.”

BET Now is available to 55 million U.S. households across more than 20 distributors, including AT&T U-verse, Cox, DirecTV, Optimum, Time Warner Cable and Verizon FiOS. Notably, Dish Network and Charter Communications currently do not have deals to offer access to the service.

To find the BET Now app on Apple TV, users can search “BET” in the App Store. On Roku, search “BET” in the “TV Everywhere” category in the Roku Channel Store or add the app to via Roku’s website. The apps with Chromecast support are available here for Android and here for Apple devices.
