*Beyonce and her song “Formation” have somehow entered the conversation about Donald Trump’s “locker room talk,” and the BeyHive did not take it well.

During an appearance Monday on “CNN Tonight,” one of the Republican nominee’s surrogates, Betsy McCaughey (a former lieutenant governor of New York), tried her hardest to brush off Trump’s lewd and sexist comments revealed Friday in a leaked 2005 “Access Hollywood” video. She tried to argue that Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton shouldn’t be criticizing Trump when she, herself, “idolizes” and “imitates” Beyonce, whose lyrics are just as bad.

“Hillary Clinton expresses that she finds the language on that bus ‘horrific,’ but in fact, she likes language like this: ‘I came to slay, bitch. When he f—ed me good I take his ass to Red Lobster.’ That happens to be from Beyonce, her favorite performer, whom she says she idolizes and would like to imitate,” McCaughey told a baffled Don Lemon Monday. “So you know what I’m saying to you? There’s a lot of hypocrisy, in Hillary Clinton expressing such horror at language on the bus.”
