*In a new interview with T.D. Jakes, Bobby Brown shares that he’s still hoping criminal charges will be filed against Nick Gordon, who was found legally responsible earlier this month for the death of his girlfriend Bobbi Kristina Brown. Gordon failed to appear in court twice in the wrongful death lawsuit filed by Brown’s conservators last year.

“I don’t know the specifics of what happened, but as the judge has said, he is legally responsible,” Brown says in a new interview with pastor T.D. Jakes, which is set to air on his talk show Wednesday. Gordon has consistently denied having any involvement in Bobbi Kristina’s death.

“I know some things that happened to my daughter, but it’s up to the D.A. now to do his job,” Brown said.

“My daughter was afraid of tubs because of what happened to her mom. So I know she wouldn’t have gotten in the tub,” says Brown in the clip below. “I mean it’s crazy because the tub wasn’t even full of water. It had a dustpan in it, in the bottom of the tub.”

A source in the Fulton County District Attorney’s office previously told PEOPLE that the criminal investigation is “still ongoing.”

“Until then, just knowing that he’s legally responsible for my daughter’s death has given me a bit of calmness to waiting for that D.A.,” says Brown. “There’s a lot of strange things that will come out in the criminal charges against Nick.”

During the sit down with T.D. Jakes, the pop star also opens up about his relationship with Whitney Houston, and struggles from his past and current relationships in his life.
