*What does a couple celebrating their anniversary, a fake comedian, and a chick looking out for her man in jail all have in common?  They were under intense pressure from Kevin Hart himself. What Now.

During his What Now tour, several fans were kicked out of the concert by security for having their cell phones out while at the show.  Now in preparation for his new film, Kevin Hart: What Now?  – In Theaters, the comedian, with the help of some of our favorite social media influencers, take to the interrogation room to get to the bottom of the “No Cell Phone” policy.

In Universal Pictures’ Kevin Hart: What Now?, comedic rock-star Kevin Hart follows up his 2013 hit stand-up concert movie Let Me Explain, which grossed $32 million domestically and became the third-highest live stand-up comedy movie of all time.  Hart takes center stage in this groundbreaking, record-setting, sold-out performance —filmed outdoors in front of 50,000 people at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field—marking the first time a comedian has ever performed to an at-capacity football stadium.

Kevin Hart: What Now? is an upcoming American stand-up comedy film starring comedian Kevin Hart. The film is scheduled to be released in North American theaters on October 14, 2016.

Development

On July 16, 2015, Universal Pictures announced that Kevin Hart: What Now?, a stand-up comedy film starring Kevin Hart, will be released theatrically in the United States on October 14, 2016 of his What Now? Tour. The show was filmed live on August 30, 2015 in front of 53,000 people at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field,with a live dress rehearsal for a small, intimate audience filmed at the stadium the night before on August 29, 2015.

The film’s teaser trailer was released January 12, 2016 and was shown in front of screenings of Universal‘s Ride Along 2.
