*Ciara has decided to forgo her libel claim against Future, the father of her son.
According to TMZ, she can’t win the defamation lawsuit because she’s making too much money, and therefore has no damages.
The singer had tried to argue that his trashing her in public cost her huge paychecks. But Ciara is actually making more money now than before Future began opening his mouth.
Ciara’s lawyer, Larry Stein, has filed legal docs dismissing the remaining libel claim, and the judge already dismissed a separate defamation claim.
The only legal matter remaining between the exes is the “false light” claim, where Russell Wilson’s wife alleges Future has made her look like someone she’s not. Proving false light does not require a showing she’s lost income.
