*New York Comic Con (NYCC) 2016 pulled out all the stops once again and presented some outstanding attractions at the Javits Center for a superb four days from 9am to 10pm.

Among those arresting draws was the mind blowing 2017 must see films, “War For the Planet of the Apes” and “The Great Wall.” I talked to the amazing Andy Serkis and Matt Damon about those films and you can see those interviews in the coming days.

“Fantastic Beasts” had an eye catching display where you could Test Your Wand Skills, Snap A Face Swap, Take a Twitter Mirror Selfie, and see the Costumes Straight from the Set that were flown in from Leavesden, UK as the final piece de resistance in the the WB booth.

Besides the various Panels where fans could ask questions, cast members were on hand in the press room above the Javits Center floor for interviews and talk about TV shows and/or upcoming 2017 projects. Among there were “Underground,” “Sleepy Hollow,” “The Outsiders,” “Salem,” “The Magician,” “Paranormal Lockdown: The Black Monk House,” “The Exorcist, “The Expanse,” “Justice League Dark,” “Batman-Return of the Caped Crusader,” and “Cracle’s Supermansion,” just to name a few.

Also popular at the NYCC where the lines didn’t seem to ever end was “Star Trek Beyond” Captain’s Chair where fans could see their face on the cover of the shareable digital photos in the captain’s chair or as the central character on the cover image from the upcoming Blu-ray, and receive a limited edition of the Federation pin.  Beautiful and talented YA author Phenice Arielle took time away from editing the trailer for her book, “Phoenix Rising – Destiny Calls” to greet the Father of Comics, Marvels Stan Lee. This was her first Comic Con visit and Lee’s last.

Needless to say there is always something for everyone. Check out more photos of fans and families having fun at: Facebook.com/TheFilmStripTM
