According to E! News, the singer is citing promoter negligence as the reason.

“To all of my lambs in South America, I am devastated that a portion of this tour had to be cancelled,” Carey told E! News. “Thank you for all of the excitement and love—I hope to see you soon, my darlings!”

Carey kicked off her Sweet Sweet Fantasy Tour in Europe earlier this year. She had been scheduled to perform on Oct. 28 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Oct. 30 in Santiago, Chile, and on Nov. 1 and 5 in São Paulo and Porto Alegre, Brazil, respectively.

All canceled tickets will receive refunds.

Carey’s November dates in Mexico City and Monterrey, Mexico remain on the schedule.
