MediaTakeOut Wants Leniency from Kim Kardashian in Lawsuit

*Opps. Looks like a certain gossip site done effed up and messed with the wrong celeb this time and now that celeb wants some get-back.

OK, here’s the deal.  As we reportedKim Kardashian West has put MediaTakeOut in a serious legal trick bag with a lawsuit for reporting that Kim K’s robbery in Paris was a hoax. Now they’re begging her to please, please reconsider suing them.

It may or may not help, but in any case, a now contrite MediaTakeOut issued an apology to Kardashian on Friday, writing that she “in no way deserved what happened to her.”

“We can understand how reports questioning if the robbery in fact took place can be hurtful, and so we apologize,” the statement reads.

“No one deserves to go through such a traumatic experience. Kim is not just celebrity, she is a person, a wife and a mother,” the post continues.

“We wish her the best as she emotionally recovers from the traumatic incident.”

Like we said, it may or may not help, but the bottom line is that on Tuesday, according to the NY Daily News, Kardashian filed a (libel) lawsuit in Manhattan Federal Court stating that the site “claimed, without any factual support whatsoever, that Kardashian faked the robbery, lied about the violent assault, and then filed a fraudulent claim with her insurance company to bilk her carrier out of millions of dollars.”

And just like that, the three articles that Kardashian is suing over have since been removed from the Media Take Out site.

During an interview with CNN last Friday, Fred Mwangaguhunga, MediaTakeOut’s founder admitted fault, noting that some of its reports had gone too far.

“Looking back at it… It’s now clear that she was robbed. It’s clear that the reporting that we did hurt her, and we certainly don’t want that to be what we do.”

Even though the lawsuit is still going forward, Mwangaguhunga told CNN he believes it will be resolved “very soon.”

As we reported, Kim Kardashian West was tied up and robbed at gunpoint of nearly $6 million dollars worth of jewelry in a Paris hotel on Oct. 3.

Something tells up you probably won’t be seeing any Kim Kardashian West stories in MediaTakeOut for quite some time and if you do, you can bet they’ll be fawning all over her.
