*Nick Cannon has joined a film from first-time director Rhys Wakefield that follows two men as they set out to scare each other in a Hollywood Hills mansion, reports Deadline.com.
Wakefield and Cannon will play the two men, who each realize that the other has never felt true fear. Over the course of one night, each sets out to trick the other into feeling it for the first time.
Wakefield wrote the script and developed the project with producer William Day Frank. It will be produced by Wakefield’s Orchestra Pit Entertainment, Eric B. Fleischman and Sean Tabibian’s Diablo Entertainment and Frank’s High Windows Films.
Wakefield, known for his role in “The Purge,” can now be seen starring in Cardboard Boxer, as well as Amber Tamblyn’s “Paint It Black.”
Cannon, meanwhile, just saw his feature directorial “King of the Dancehall” make its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.
