Question: Where did the idea for this movie come from?

Tyler Perry: Believe it or not Chris Rock. Chris did a mock spoof of Madea in his film Top Five. Lionsgate called me after seeing it and said what do you think of really doing it?

Question: How did you develop this relationship with YouTube and the YouTube stars Liza Koshy and Yousef Erakat?

Tyler Perry: I wanted to introduce Madea to a new generation through social media. These guys have such a huge following and I was fascinated at their content so I personally reached out to offer roles for the film.

Question: Where you all surprise to get called about appearing in the film?

Liza Koshy: I thought I was being Punk’d. I’m so excited and grateful. Tyler was so gracious and welcoming. This is a big opportunity and my first acting role ever,

Yousef Erakat: I thought I was the one getting pranked this time. I have always wanted this. I majored in this in school. I knew that being brown skin that some of my roles would be ones that don’t always represent me. I had so much fun and appreciate Tyler for giving us this incredible opportunity.
