*Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame has been destroyed by a sledgehammer and pick-ax.

According to TMZ, law enforcement sources say the star at 6801 Hollywood Blvd. was found smashed apart and his name chiseled away early Wednesday.

According to Deadline Hollywood, which has exclusive video of the star as it’s being destroyed, a person named Jamie Otis took credit for the vandalism. He dressed as a construction worker and made his move at around 5:45 a.m. this morning.

He says his intention was to remove the star from its place near the Dolby Theater and auction it in New York, with proceeds funding the legal defense of women accusing Trump of sexual assault. But the star ended up crumbled apart instead.

Trump’s star was dedicated in 2007 in recognition of his work fronting and firing on the NBC series. “The Apprentice” executive producer Mark Burnett, Larry King and then “Tonight Show”host Jay Leno all spoke at the dedication ceremony.

The GOP presidential nominee has vowed to sue the women making such claims against him once the election is over on Nov. 8.

Attorney Gloria Allred, representing three of the 11 accusers, said today she would encourage her clients to sue Trump in return for defamation.

This is of course not the first time the GOP candidate’s star has been attacked or defaced since Trump announced his White House bid in summer 2015. There was the reverse swastika sprayed on the star in late January, as well as the mute sign added in June, seemingly protesting his antagonistic language during the campaign. In both cases, Trump’s star was quickly cleaned and restored within a day.

In July, an L.A. street artist surrounded the Trump star with a tiny wall topped by tiny razor wire to knock the candidate’s plan to build a wall between U.S. and Mexico if elected.
