Fans that have missed the likes of the legendary Danny Glover or fan favorite Mo’Nique will be happy to head to theaters for this production. Walter (Glover) is a retired automotive engineer who lost the love of his life one year earlier.

Now that the holiday season is here, he invites his four grown children and the rest of the family to his house for a “traditional” celebration.

Can his four children – played by Union, Elise, Romany Malco and Jessie Usher – spend five days together under the same roof?

Talbert, who also wrote the screenplay,  carefully crafted that answer with “Almost Christmas.” The film – produced by Will Packer – caters to all demographics and definitely delivers major laughs with comics J.B. Smoove and D.C. Young Fly.

Ahead of its Nov 11, 2016 release EUR associate H’erica Thompson was on hand to speak with some of the cast at the Los Angeles premiere.

Mo’Nique (Aunt May) says this film “will make you laugh, it will make you cry but it will make you think.”

Social media star and Wild N Out cast member DC Young Fly (Eric) says his character is rough around the edges and Danny Glover (Walter) says “this movie will make you feel good.”
