*Rapper Bobby Shmurda, currently serving a seven-year prison sentence, was reportedly placed in protective custody on Monday after getting into some kind of altercation.
According to VladTV, it all went down in a mess hall at the Downstate Correctional Facility in the state of New York. Whatever happened reportedly led correctional authorities to remove him from general population.
The Brooklyn emcee took a plea deal on a series of weapons charges (conspiracy, reckless endangerment, criminal possession of a weapon — and criminally using drug paraphernalia) stemming from a December 2014 arrest.
