*It was as if the Beyonce moment never happened at last night’s Country Music Association Awards.
For some reason… all evidence of Bey’s “Daddy Lessons” performance with the Dixie Chicks has been scrubbed from the CMA Awards website, and all mentions of her removed from its Twitter and Instagram accounts, according to eagle-eyed fans.

.@CountryMusic, why did you delete your tweets referring to @Beyonce‘s performance at the #CMAawards50?

CMA erased all evidence of Beyonce performing at the awards last after her appearance sparked racist backlash from some country fans. ? pic.twitter.com/LOngo91jjL

Via Uproxxx:
The official account for the awards, @CountryMusic no longer has any tweets about the performance. There are also no Instagram post or other information about what was, for all intents and purposes, one of the biggest highlights of the night. She is not listed under the official performers page either, which could be because she was added as a surprise — if we’re being generous.
While the performance was enthusiastically received by audience members inside the venue (minus Kenny Chesney), a large contingent of country fans took to the Internet in outrage, with some using racist language to state that Bey had no business performing at an event honoring country music.
Activist DeRay Mckesson, one of the leaders of the Black Lives Matter movement, believes the racist element of the backlash prompted CMA officials to simply remove the source of their disgust altogether.
“It is disappointing that instead of celebrating Beyonce’s immense talent and range exemplified by the performance of her country song “Daddy Lessons” at the CMA awards, the CMA Association has chosen to bow to pressure of a segment of its racist fans,” McKesson told Uproxx.
And DeRay isn’t the only one wanting answers:
