CNN Accidentally Broadcasts Porn In Place of ‘Parts Unknown’ on Thanksgiving; Blames RCN Cable

*Subscribers of RCN cable in the Boston area who turned to CNN last night expecting to see Anthony Bourdain’s culinary travelogue series “Parts Unknown” got some parts alright. Lady parts.

According to local reports, hard-core porn began airing on RCN’s CNN’s channel around 11 p.m. ET Thursday, when the news network was supposed to be rerunning an episode of “Parts Unknown.”

Jeff Carlson, senior VP and general manager of RCN Boston said the company was “in the process of researching this incident but see no evidence our CNN network feed was compromised last evening in Boston.”

CNN, however, blamed RCN for the mixup in a statement.

“The RCN cable operator in Boston aired inappropriate content for 30 minutes on CNN last night. CNN has asked for an explanation,” CNN said.

The snafu ended up giving retired adult film actress Riley Quinn another 15 minutes of fame.

She took to social media to thank CNN “for the free airtime” while also updating her Twitter bio to read “As featured on CNN.”
