Florence Henderson On ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Days Before her Death

*Florence Henderson, the former Broadway star who became one of America’s most beloved television moms in “The Brady Bunch,” has died of heart failure, her manager Kayla Pressman said in a statement. She was 82.

Henderson died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Thursday night, one day after she was hospitalized, and three days after attending “Dancing with the Stars” to support her former on-screen daughter Maureen McCormick as she competed for the Mirror Ball trophy.

“You are in my heart forever Florence,” tweeted McCormick, who played the eldest Brady daughter, Marcia.

“Dancing With the Stars” host Tom Bergeron tweeted, “Heartbroken. I’ll miss you, my friend.”

Henderson, who competed on “DWTS” during season 11, also surprised McCormick in September at the season 23 premiere.

Henderson married theater executive Ira Bernstein and the couple had four children before the union ended in divorce after 29 years.

Her second husband, John Kappas, died in 2002.

Pressman said she is survived by her children, Barbara, Joseph, Robert and Lizzie, their spouses and five grandchildren.
