Lil Wayne Dismisses Black Lives Matter Again on ‘Nightline’: ‘That Ain’t Got Nothing To Do With Me’ (Watch)

*Lil Wayne continues to tell the world, with pride, that the Black Lives Matter movement is of no interest or concern to him, and has no relevance to his life.

“I don’t feel connected to a damn thing that ain’t got nothing to do with me,” he said during an interview with ABC’s “Nightline” that aired Tuesday.

Weezy sat down with reporter Lindsey Davis for a wide ranging interview that included his love of marijuana, controversial lyrics and stint on Riker’s Island. But the artist got dismissive right off the bat when the conversation pivoted to Black Lives Matter.

“What is it? What does it mean?” Wayne responded.

The rapper went on to explain, “I’m a young black rich mother****er. If that don’t let you know that America understand…”

Wayne has faced some backlash in recent months for his controversial opinions. In August, he led the Weezyana Festival crowd in a “Black Lives Matter” chant, but the following month told Skip Bayless of Fox Sports 1’s “Undisputed” that there was “no such thing as racism.”
