*As we await the onslaught of Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas” on the radio, the singer doubles down on her presence this holiday season with the launch of her second collaboration with MAC Cosmetics.
“Lambs! I can finally share the news… My @MACcosmetics collection is arriving in time for the holidays. Shop it this December online and in-store,” Mariah wrote on Instagram.
The 23-piece line is set to debut online Dec. 8 and in stores Dec. 15. Products will include everything from MAC’s Lipstick, LipGlass, Pro Longwear Lip Pencil, Eye Shadow, Liquid Eye Liner, Lashes, Extra Dimension SkinFinish (pressed in the shape of Mariah’s face, complete with lashes and her side-swept bang), Powder Blush, Loose Powder, and shimmery brushes in homage of Glitter.
“I’ve always worn MAC, both on and off stage,” Mariah told a MAC rep in an interview, “and we had so much fun creating the lipstick last year, so it was a natural progression for us to create a larger collection.”
Mariah’s products are of course named after her hit songs (“Touch My Body” body powder, “All I Want” lipstick) as well as her idols (“Little Miss Monroe,” after Marilyn, is the name of one of her LipGlasses).
