NeNe Leakes

*Self proclaimed “Rich Bitch” Nene Leakes reportedly owes the IRS more than $1 million in taxes, and according to RadarOnline, she also once filed for bankruptcy. According to U.S. Bankruptcy Court documents the former stripper filed for chapter 13 bankruptcy back in March 1996.

Leakes was a struggling single mom back then, when she went by Linnethia Johnson. She owed nearly $30,000 to various creditors, including $27,000 on a car loan and $2,000 on student debt. She now owns a $2 million mansion in Atlanta, but Leakes listed her value in real property as $0 in the filing. The case was dismissed on April 4, 1996.

One year later, she married real estate investor Gregg Leakes in 1997. The couple split in 2010, only to remarry two years later. The highs and lows of their relationship has been chronicled on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
