*Fox News Channel host Sean Hannity has apologized for suggesting on his radio show that First Lady Michelle Obama had “scrubbed” her Twitter account of any mention of Hillary Clinton.
A story published by YourNewsWire falsely stated that FLOTUS had “deleted” all tweets on her @MichelleObama account “all the way back to 2013.”
The report implied tweets about Clinton were removed in response to the FBI’s investigation of new emails that broke last Friday.
“Wow. That means they know it’s huge,” Hannity said on his radio show.
Only problem is, Michelle Obama uses the Twitter handle @FLOTUS.
Hannity had to tweet an apology:
