Without Tamar ‘The Real’ Ratings Up & Nene, Porsha Are Neighbors

the real ratings are up

The Real” ratings are reportedly on the rise after Tamar Braxton’s departure. The daytime talk show has picked up 13% to a new season high 0.9. This news comes on the heels of the speculation about whether the show would suffer, or even be cancelled, after terminating Braxton last season.

The third season of “The Real” debuted on FOX this fall, making it the first to air without Braxton on the hosting panel. At the time, ratings reportedly dropped significantly, leaving many wondering about the future of the show.

Meanwhile, the remaining co-hosts and Braxton have moved on. This month, the show has secured a slew of celebrity guest co-hosts including: Eve, Ashanti, Monica and Angela Simmons.

Tamar’s new talk show, produced by Steve Harvey’s production company, is set to air in 2017.

RHOA‘RHOA’ stars Nene Leakes and Porsha Williams are now neighbors in the same gated community, according to Page Six. Williams recently bought a $1.15 million home that’s just a two-minute drive from Leakes‘ house.

Porsha’s new home has five bedrooms, five fireplaces, a library and walk-in closets, according to the listing. Community perks include a golf course and a creek.

NeNe’ $2 million home was built in 2014, and features six bedrooms, 6½ bathrooms and a four-car garage.

TMZ reports that Williams was able to negotiate the price down from the initial asking price of $1.275 million. You recall that she was married to former NFL player Kordell Stewart for two years, but they divorced in December 2013.

Stewart claims in his new memoir that “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” ruined their relationship and ultimately destroyed their marriage.

“As I unlocked the doors and allowed Bravo’s camera crews into our house and our lives, however, all existing problems in our marriage seemed to be brought to light,” the NFL alum and former Bravolebrity, 44, writes about the former couple’s 2012 debut on the hit series in “Truth: The Kordell Stewart Story.” “Over time…I felt like my only choice was to file for divorce.”

The single father accuses the series’ “lifestyle” with having a “negative impact” on his “young, impressionable” son.
